Nanaimo City Council could sign off tonight on the final part of a deal to buy up properties in Linley Valley.
The City’s Real Estate department is asking for approval to wrap up deals on 5600 Vanderneuk Road and 3842 Stronach Drive for a combined price of 2-million dollars.
One of the properties the city was originally trying to purchase, a 20 hectare parcel on Tanva Drive, is no longer available.
So, with that one off the table the total cost will come in at around 5.6 million.
