The Salvation Army is starting their Christmas Kettle Campaign in Nanaimo and on the Sunshine Coast, and they need volunteers.
In Nanaimo things start with a kick off lunch Friday, then the bell ringers hit the streets Saturday the 22nd.
Dawn Anderson says they’ll be setting up in 27 different locations throughout Nanaimo and Ladysmith, looking to raise money for local programs.
Captain Tim Leslie is the Kettle Campaign coordinator on the Sunshine Coast, where there are also lots of programs that stand to benefit.
Anderson and Leslie say they still need dozens of volunteers.
