Investigators are asking for the public’s help to find a missing Victoria man who could be in the Duncan area.
Slaven Bakovljev was reported missing on Monday, June 16. He is believed to have been driving a white 2009 Kia Rio sedan with license plate 564 KXN.
He is a 26-year-old white male. He stands five feet, 10 inches tall, with a slim build, weighing approximately 140lbs. Slaven has short, dark brown hair and a moustache. He was reported to have been carrying a backpack.
Efforts to find Bakovljev have involved hundreds of volunteers and many police departments, reaching from Northern Vancouver Island to the Lower Mainland.
