VCH looking for feedback from stroke survivors and families

Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for stroke survivors, their families and caregivers for a focus group.
It’s part of VCH’s effort to update the way they care for stroke patients.
Sacha Arsenault is the health authority’s Regional Lead for the Stroke Strategy.  She says they’re especially interested in hearing from people outside the Lower Mainland.
Arsenault says they’re also looking for stories of people’s experiences with the system… from diagnosis through to treatment and recovery.
The focus group is taking place Monday from 1 to 3 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Sechelt.  If you’re interested in going preregister by calling 604-714-3779 or by e-mailing [email protected]
VCH is also collecting comments and stories of patient experiences outside the focus groups.  Just e-mail them or contact them to set up a time to talk by phone.
