Second book for 100 year-old Sunshine Coast author

Hundred year-old Sunshine Coast author Frank White is hoping to score a second BC best-seller with “That went by Fast”, the continuation of the life-story he started in “Milk Spills and One-Log Loads.”

White’s books are published by Harbour Publishing, run by his son Howard.  This book covers the time they were growing up, and Howard says being raised by a guy who did things like, when Mount St. Helens was errupting rounded up a neighbour and drove down just to get a look, was quite the experience.

White says this volume also gives some insight into how Pender Harbour, which both men still call home, came to be the community it is today and why it attracted guys like his dad.

The book was launched at a pair of events on the Sunshine Coast earlier this month.
